I like your VN.. the character style art.. This is my truth feed back not gonna lie, it nice story line and may be you add some background art especially it the forest scene and the transition of the character when gone or appear in the screen ( for me its annoy me a little) and the expression of the character you may work that.. Little work.. And i experience a minor bug

This is pretty good, I like it, though its a shame. The rhino looks very good but unfortunately he's a jerk cuz I really like the look of him. I guess there's no chance of changing him though could have made a nice April 1st joke that he gets what he wants. What a shame guess I'll just keep it a fantasy LoL the rest is still coming together nicely so keep up the good work
Every month I read a new chapter,I get more and more into the story and art designs. I only have three words to say, stupendous,marvelous and astonishing.
Alright… There is so much I have to say!
First off, I would like to point out that this is my opinion and a critique of your Visual Novel. I know many developers might not like criticism to be added, but use it as a means to try to better your self in your projects and detect problems that make a project stay behind easier. Leaving that aside.
The good:
Your characters, they might not be completely fully created or for now lack certain familiarity with people… (It might be personal in my case to be honest) They are good enough to bring the concept of them, yet I feel they need a little more background.
The music over all doesn’t distract or ruin the scenes so far, and to tell the truth they blend a bit too well… It doesn’t convey emotion behind it. If these songs are of your making then they do pretty well, just that there is no hint of feeling behind. Now I’m not trying to insult but, it doesn’t add to the atmosphere of the scenes sometimes.
Art design, it has its own charm I’m not going to lie it requires some rework, but it has its own charm to it. I quite like the backgrounds in the forest, they convey only what’s necessary. The characters are well detail, but there seems to be clashing inconsistencies sometimes.
The bad:
Narrative wise, it’s doing good… But, there is so much left behind, some scenes could use a little more description. What I mean is that makes the reader use imagination if there is no art for it. Create the scene add the feeling of nature, create a feel that adds and makes the reader feel that he is there.
Now, I know narrative in extensive description is bad, but there is a fine balance to transport the reader and feel the story home. So far it does its purpose, but it feels that there was some hesitation.
Overall: Not a bad Visual novel, I would say that it’s a bit fast passed between interactions, is living at the moment more than a memory. IT has its own charm, but it clearly needs some work in the background.

Really liked this game so far, can't wait to see what direction it is taking. One unintentionally funny thing, the main character at some point says: "Like a car without wheels". Pretty sure you meant cart or something else lol. Great game!
It was indeed meant to say "cart" haha. Hopefully nobody thought they have modern vehicles in this setting. It's already been corrected in the upcoming version, but thank you for pointing it out.
This comment feels to me like you’re picking out one color in a painting and asking why everybody paints everything red. Especially since two of the VNs you mention have non-jerk options. (Though yes, they all have fairly weak protagonists.)
But the short answer is: Because it’s popular.
What do you wish had happened differently? I or someone may be able to recommend something more to your taste.
Okay, this sounds like you want a few main things:
Very thorough world-building
A heroic and inspiring protagonist, not a depressing or helpless one
No major relationship drama
I suspect some degree of relationship drama is inherent to the Romance genre. 😕 And while there are a couple VNs that have strong protagonists, I cannot think of ANY that have the level of coherent world-building you seem to be looking for. You spent a long time explaining how TToF isn’t like the real world—if that is a problem for you then any kind of fantasy or SciFi will not work at all, and your best option is contemporary stories that are set in the real world.
To that end, I would recommend these:
Ocean Avenue - similar to EA, but the protagonist starts with goals and tries to achieve them
After Years - has no jerks and is low on drama. Kegar is a supportive wingman, and the protagonist does stand up for himself sometimes
You might also like Santa Lucia, but I haven’t played that one in a while so I’m not confident in that recommendation. Another contemporary one with an active protagonist is London’s Aesop, but it has some fantasy elements and is currently on hiatus.
TBH I think you’re more likely to find what you want in contemporary romance novel novels, not furry VNs.
If you like fantasy and can tolerate non-real worlds, then I don’t really understand half the things you found wrong with TToF, because they are issues with the setting not matching the real world. (The other half are issues of human nature/behavior and I agree they probably could be better.)
I’ve heard of Grove but never played it. But also it looks like an RPG, not a VN? If you want more agency, that definitely would be the way to go. Unfortunately I don’t really play many of those.
For SF/F I might recommend Lyre, which is kind of like Adastra, except the wolf isn’t a jerk so there’s no drama with him. (All drama is with the environment instead.) I had issues with the world not making sense though, so you might also.
If you’re okay with the superhero genre then Super Nova could be good. Short so far but the protagonist is moderately strong and only 1/3 of the BFs is an ass.
I have others I like more, but they either have weaker protagonists or way more relationship issues and drama, which you seemed not to like so much?
One thing I don't get is when people try to apply our society's rules into a fantasy world. The genre is fantasy, it's meant to be unrealistic/different to todays principles. It's not needed, especially when the VN itself is slowly explaining the world and how everything works.
Just discovered this VN in the middle of a crisis and this story have tugged me in like a child. Thank you for your sharing your work and I am eager to know what's next!

Based on build .6 he's really conflicted because of a very obviously SHIT upbringing. But he's still in the mode where he is not able to recognize that his upbringing was bad (something that's often true of abuse survivors who also tend to make decisions and have attitudes reflective of that abuse.)
I love this so much! next thing you know its gonna hit you with a "Dragons have mates, oh and surprise! your Valos's mate!" but you never know and thats what draws me in! please release more soon but no rush!
Hi, just wanted to say this is an amazing story so far. Great ambient music. Awesome drawing style too, quite Bara style rather than yaoi style which is great, loving Valos and the story development. Keep it up :), so excited to see what's next.

Hello, I don't know if you noticed but the Android version doesn't seem to work it always says that the update not installed even though I never installed the game before or have any files on my phone of it from that matter. I would appreciate if u might be able to take a look. If not that's ok. I'll find another way to play the game.

This is my first time trying to download this game and it is telling me the same thing. Says I didn't update successfully despite this being a first time download. I try a lot of games on itch and none of the other Apks seem to share a name so I'm at a loss.

I love this game so much! That cliffhanger... how can you tease such a sexy dragon! I love all characters, though so far my favourite is Valos. (heavily tied with Hershel he's defo perfect husband material)
So I have 2(3) Problems with this "game", something I suspect it doesn't want to be. So I'm first going to list my problems and then go a little in depth about them.
1. It's boring 2. It doesn't tell you what it wants from you (3). It's rather linear
1. So by boring I mean that it is basically a book with pictures (yeah I know that's basically what a visual novel is) and it is kind of my fault, I kind of expected a story where every few textboxes I could choose from like all the other VNs I played so far. Now this is obviously not what this wants to be, but I just ask for a little bit choice how my character reacts and so on, it doesn't have to be changing the outcome of the story.
2. About that choice of how my character reacts, I also kind of started off whith the notion that I am the main character of the story, not that I should pretend to be a certain character and I think the game does telling you that poorly, maybe start off with a simple exposition of who my character that I am playing is, because I am playing a character designed by the writer not by me. I might also have this problem because I have a hard time to pretend to be someone else who I am not and it's made especially hard when the game kind of starts of with the illusion that you can choose who you want to be.
(3). Well as the creator already stated in other comments it might become a story with branching paths, but even if it doesn't I will still try to give this story a chance. It's just that I absolutely enjoy playing those branching VNs because I love finding all those different endings and what you have to do to get them.
Summary: It's a nice start, could be improved and I really love the story and the character of Valos and the hint as to who he actually most likely is (maybe I'm completely wrong on that one, but oh well) and am looking forward for more of this story.

Currently, the VN is planned to be linear with only one ending; however, there may be multiple endings in the future, most likely two or three. I’m guessing there will be nsfw scenes in the future but there is also violence which is why I’m guessing it’s currently in the section it is in
